Can you describe some of the top advantages to working with you and Couture Events?

Dani:  Couture Events is one of the top coordinating services in Southern California. We go above & beyond doing everything possible to ensure their wedding and the process of planning it was better than they ever dreamt it would be. I would narrow the top-3 advantages to be:  1) Coming into the planning process with resources and information of vendors/venues that have been tested & trusted, leaving you with some of the best choices you could have for your wedding;  2) Having a background, schooling, training, and experience with detailed design and creativity; and 3) Taking every bit of stress away from your planning, communication with vendors/venues, set up, rehearsal and day-of timelines/administration, and taking care of any final communication post wedding.

There is something that sets Couture Events apart, and everything about them is magical. I started with Couture as an intern and am now running the OC branch! I am so passionate about my job, and love every day of work. With our team, you’re able to trust that your wedding day will go smoothly (even if some things do go wrong ;-).

Do couples needs/wants differ in OC from other regions Couture Events serves?

Dani:  Of course different areas come with different client visions, but OC is my favorite because of the combination of high style & quality with the laid back atmosphere. I feel that couples in OC are looking for this to be reflected in their weddings.

Who is your “ideal” client?

Dani:  Our ideal client is excited about working with us for her wedding day. She is stylish and successful in whatever she does. She gets what she wants, she is confident and trusts that we will take care of all of the details. She is smart and knows in the long run we will save her time and money. She is classy and on trend but not trendy. She loves romantic comedies and wants her wedding day to truly be a dream come true.

What have you found couples are most concerned about when planning their wedding?

Dani:  Being able to enjoy the process, staying within budget, and bringing their vision to life. Also, each couple does want something different. We ask our full coordination couples at the beginning of the process if they can prioritize what vendors/aspects of the wedding are most important to them, and we also ask them to list their top 3-5 wedding values. What they want the wedding to reflect. Their responses range from Wow Factor to Family Centered and this really helps us know what is most important to that couple.

What are some “hot” trends in weddings this year?

Dani:  Floral Chandeliers are pretty hot right now and we are LOVING THEM! We also see Flash Tattoo Stations hitting cocktail hours (creating another activity for guests). They enjoy for the night and scrub off before Monday. Destinations – lots of couples do destination weddings in California (where the sun is always shining and the beach is just a few minutes away) .
