Special Event - CHOC Hospital, April 2007: 

Above All Catering, Inc. was proud to support CHOC and provide breakfast catering to a very important event which included over 1,000 guests.  The safari theme included food, live animals, games, music, crafts, and more.

Catering News

Before you Hire, Inquire!  Essential questions to ask your caterer:

1.  What kind of experience do they have?  Ask for references and review recent testimonials.

2.  Can you arrange for a tasting and visit the facility and interview the staff?

3.  What is the quality of the presentation?  Ask for pictures of previous buffets or table settings.

4.  Will the quote/estimate be the final cost or are there other fees (i.e., service charges, gratuities, labor, etc.)?

5.  Does the caterer have a valid liability insurance policy and workman's compensation policy?

6.  Does your caterer have a “Certified Professional Food Manager”?  The State of California mandates that each food establishment have at least one Certified Professional Food Manager who has passed an approved food safety test.

7.  Check our their Health Department Report.  All facilities are required to have this report available at any time for client viewing.   

8.  How does the caterer keep cold food cold and hot food hot during transportation?

9.  Are their listed prices current?

TLC - What Not To Wear, April 2007:  Above All Catering, Inc. was chosen to cater food on the set for the fashion makeover show in Los Alamitos, Los Angeles, and Glendale.  The 3 day event consisted of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Macy's, March 2007:  Above All Catering, Inc. provided tray passed gourmet hors' d'oeuvres for over 400 brides at the yearly bridal expo.  This years event featured famous party planner David Tutera.  Above All Catering was pleased to compliment such an premier event.
